Shunko Muroya is the
Japanese Adviser to Alberta Education in Edmonton, Alberta,
Canada, sponsored by the Japan Foundation's Japanese-Language
Specialists Dispatch Program.
As the Japanese Adviser for Canada, Mr. Muroya's job is to support
Japanese language education in Canada in various ways, such
as providing updated information, developing teaching resources,
conducting seminars, visiting schools and consulting teachers.
He
has been in the Japanese teaching field since 1984 and has taught
Japanese in China, Japan, Indonesia, Australia, Hungary and the
US.
With
his wife and two children, he lives in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
